Diverse exchange at the WCTR

At this year’s World Conference on Transport Research (WCTR) in Toulouse (July 6–10), we hosted a Special Session „Urban Goods Movement – Urban freight in the 15-minute city” designed to go beyond traditional presentation formats and foster dynamic, open discussion.

The session kicked off with short, insightful input presentations, including contributions from Laetitia Dablanc and Eva Heinen, setting a strong foundation for the main event: an interactive Fishbowl discussion. With six seats on stage and an ever-changing lineup of contributors, the format let audience members step up, share their perspectives on key transport topics, and cycle back into the audience. This fluid setup sparked active participation, diverse exchange, and a wide range of valuable insights from international experts and attendees alike.

Thank you to everyone who joined the stage, shared ideas, and made this session such an engaging and successful highlight of the conference!
