DUT
The Driving Urban Transition Partnership (DUT) is an intergovernmental research and innovation program, which addresses the main challenges of urban transition. It is co-funded by 28 European countries and the European Commission. The program aims to enable different players, e.g. local authorities and municipalities, citizens etc. in the urban context through research, innovation and capacity building to initiate transition processes.
Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and German Aerospace Center (DLR)
The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is funding this project within the framework of the Strategy „Research for Sustainability" (FONA).
The German Aerospace Center, known as the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR), is Germany's national research center for aeronautics and space. It focuses on a wide range of scientific and technological research areas, including aeronautics, space, energy, transportation and security. The DLR conducts both basic and applied research, often collaborating with universities, industry partners, and other research institutions.

The French National Research Agency, known as Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR), is France's project-based funding agency dedicated to supporting and promoting research. Its primary functions include: funding research projects, encouraging innovation and technology transfer, strengthening scientific cooperation across Europe and worldwide and analyse trends in research offerings and assessing the impact of the funding on scientific output in France.
